Mr. Maguire is one of the founding partners at MDW Associates, and has more than 23 years of experience in missile defense and international security policy and analysis. Over the past decade, Mr. Maguire has been a recognized leader of the strategic planning and decision support process at the Missile Defense Agency. He was twice recognized at MDA’s Contactor of the Year, the only person to achieve this honor. At the same time, Mr. Maguire was a Vice President at the small defense firm, Paradigm Technologies, Inc., successfully capturing multiple competitive contract awards and helping the firm nearly triple in size. When the owners of Paradigm sold their company, Mr. Maguire decided to take his expertise and his own brand of client support to start MDW with his partners.

Prior to joining the Missile Defense Agency, Mr. Maguire worked in the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Joint Staff on missile defense, nuclear weapons employment, international cooperation, counter-proliferation and space policy.

Mr. Maguire holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Polytechnic University of Brooklyn, and a Master of Arts in National Security Studies from Georgetown University. He lives with his wife and two daughters in McLean, VA.
